Celebrate 50 years of community, memories, and milestones at North Riverside Park Mall. As part of this special anniversary, guests can take part in our 5K Mall Walk, participate in our Spin to Win station for exciting prizes, celebrate Yollocalli students who transformed sneakers into unique art pieces, be the first to see artwork from Cicero Elementary Schools, and much more. Join us as we honor our past, celebrate our present, and look ahead to the future of NRPM together.
Kicks and Canvasses | 10:30am
Join us for the unveiling of two exciting art installations celebrating 50 years of North Riverside Park Mall. Yollocalli Arts Reach Program, youth initiative of the National Museum of Mexican Art, proudly showcases sneaker creations as wearable art by talented student artists. Cicero District 99 students demonstrate views of culture, community and local traditions in a variety of mediums. 20+ select works have been enlarged, enhancing the Food Court.
Spin to Win | 11am - 2pm
Spend the anniversary amount of $50, show your receipt at Guest Services and spin the magic wheel to win a selection of prizes, including $50 gift cards.
Indoor 5k walk | 8:30am
Join us for a fun, healthy start to the day with a 5K walk inside the Center, led by Andrea Metcalf. Refreshments served.
Kicks as Canvas | 10:30am
Celebrate the Yollocalli students who transformed AF1 sneakers into unique art pieces, showcased in North Court. About Yollocalli: Founded in 1997, Yollocalli is the award winning arts outreach youth initiative of the National Museum of Mexican Art.
