The art piece “Connections” was designed by a local Chicago artist Oxana Belka and was exhibited in Black Rock City dessert at the Burning Man Festival.

The art piece represents the human experience. We live in a symbiotic relationship where we influence and affect change in one another. Through creativity, expression, and vulnerability, we are able to transform those around us, and they in turn transform us.

The illumination will breathe life and further animate these forms. To the observer, the mannequins will become representative of not only the Burning Man experience but also the human experience - a transformative journey, fueled by our human bond.
